Should be metal

This design would be great if made out of metal but it’s not. Sun will eat this up in a couple years.

While we appreciate your feedback we disagree. In fact these have been in the sun for many years and are made from UV resistant ABS. They are tough as nails. In addition if they were steel and an animal got a hold of the camera it would bust your expensive camera and not the mount.
